The first place on this route is Krzeszów, with a post-Cistercian monastic complex and a Calvary. It is a monument already appreciated, recognised by the president of Poland as a History Monument. The monastic church of the Assumption of Mary, with its greatness and splendour, was supposed to help fighting the reformation. This stylistically uniform, baroque temple with equipment also baroque is called the European Gem of Baroque. The most precious piece of the sanctuary is the oldest in Poland image of Mary - the icon of Our Lady of Grace.
